Copper, Urine
This test measures the amount of copper passed out of your body through your urine. It helps show whether you have been exposed to toxic levels of copper or if your body is having trouble processing the mineral naturally. Doctors often use these results to help evaluate for Wilson's disease, a genetic disorder that causes copper to build up in organs. However, because liver inflammation can also cause higher copper levels, this test cannot diagnose a specific disease on its own and usually requires comparison with blood tests.
