Urinalysis, Complete With Microscopic Examination

This test analyzes the chemical makeup and physical appearance of your urine and uses a microscope to look for cells, bacteria, or crystals. It helps show whether your kidneys are functioning correctly or if there are signs of infection, bleeding, or metabolic issues like diabetes. Results from this test help doctors rule out urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, and kidney disease. However, it cannot identify the specific bacteria causing an infection or determine the exact cause of an abnormality on its own.
