Growth Hormone

This test measures the amount of growth hormone in your blood, a substance produced by the pituitary gland that controls physical growth and metabolism. It helps show whether your body is producing abnormal levels of this hormone, which can explain growth delays in children or changes in bone and muscle health in adults.
