It helps explain why red blood cells are being destroyed too quickly, which can lead to symptoms like fatigue or jaundice. Doctors use this result to distinguish autoimmune reactions from other types of anemia or blood disorders. While it indicates an immune response, it does not identify the specific underlying disease causing the attack on its own.
