Hepatitis B Surface Antibody, Quantitative

This test measures the specific amount of antibodies your immune system has produced against the Hepatitis B virus. It helps determine if you have enough protection to fight off the virus, which is useful for confirming if a vaccination was successful or if a booster shot is needed. While a high level suggests you are immune, this test alone does not diagnose an active Hepatitis B infection or determine if you are currently contagious.
