Arsenic Exposure Profile, Urine
This test measures the amount of arsenic in your urine to detect recent or ongoing contact with this heavy metal. It helps show whether you have absorbed harmful levels of arsenic from sources like contaminated water, food, or workplace hazards. Doctors use these results to help determine if arsenic toxicity is causing symptoms such as numbness, skin changes, or stomach pain. However, this test cannot identify the specific source of the arsenic or detect exposure that occurred in the distant past.
