Diabetes Comorbidity Assessment

This assessment measures specific fats in your blood, such as cholesterol, and evaluates how well your kidneys filter waste. Since diabetes often increases the risk of other health issues, this test helps show if you are developing complications like heart disease or chronic kidney disease. It helps identify or rule out secondary conditions that often accompany diabetes, such as high cholesterol or reduced kidney function. However, this panel does not diagnose diabetes itself and cannot predict the exact timing of future health complications.
