Iodine, Urine With Creatinine Ratio
This test measures the amount of iodine in your urine compared to creatinine, a substance used to adjust for how diluted the urine is. Because the body eliminates most iodine through urine, this result helps show whether your current intake is too low or too high for proper thyroid function. It is useful for evaluating risks related to iodine deficiency or excessive exposure. However, this test does not diagnose specific thyroid diseases or permanently confirm long-term nutritional status on its own.
