Chromium, Plasma

This test measures the amount of chromium in the liquid part of your blood called plasma. It is primarily used to check for high levels of chromium caused by working with metals, paints, or chemicals in industrial settings. This helps show whether you have been exposed to unsafe amounts of this metal. However, this test does not diagnose nutritional deficiencies or monitor chromium levels related to diabetes.
