Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) Profile
This test measures specific antibodies in your blood that mistakenly attack proteins involved in blood clotting. It helps doctors investigate the cause of unexplained blood clots or recurrent miscarriages by checking for signs of Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS). These results help distinguish this autoimmune reaction from other types of clotting disorders. However, a single test cannot confirm a diagnosis, as these antibodies can sometimes appear temporarily due to infections or medications.
