Lipid Panel With Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
This test measures the levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood, as well as a protein called Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) that carries bad cholesterol. It helps show the total amount of plaque-building material in your circulation, which provides a clearer picture of your risk for heart disease or stroke. Doctors use these results to identify heart health risks that a standard cholesterol test might miss. However, this test cannot diagnose a heart attack or determine if you currently have blocked arteries.
