Lipid Panel With GlycA (Inflammation) and Diabetes Risk Index (DRI)

This test measures cholesterol levels in your blood along with markers for body-wide inflammation and a calculated score related to your risk of developing diabetes. It helps show how your body processes fats and sugar, identifying potential risks for heart disease or type 2 diabetes even if your blood sugar levels currently look normal. These results help doctors distinguish between healthy metabolic function and early signs of insulin resistance or chronic inflammation. However, this test provides a risk assessment and does not by itself diagnose a heart attack, specific infection, or active diabetes.
