Calcium:Creatinine Ratio
This test compares the amount of calcium in your urine to creatinine, a waste product produced by your muscles. It helps show whether your body is excreting too much calcium, which can be a risk factor for kidney stones or bone loss. Doctors use this measurement to screen for disorders involving the parathyroid glands, vitamin D levels, or bone health. However, this test is a screening tool and does not diagnose the specific cause of high calcium levels by itself.
