> This test measures the level of IgG antibodies in your blood against Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) bacteria. It helps show whether your immune system has successfully built protection against this bacteria, typically after receiving a vaccination. This measurement helps doctors evaluate how well your immune system functions and can help rule out certain types of immune deficiencies. However, this test only indicates past exposure or vaccination response and cannot diagnose an active infection currently making you sick.
