Diphtheria Antitoxoid Antibodies

This test measures the amount of antibodies in your blood that protect against the toxin produced by diphtheria bacteria. It helps show whether your immune system has built enough defense against the disease, typically following a vaccination. Doctors use these results to evaluate how well your immune system responds to vaccines or to determine if you are currently protected. This test does not diagnose an active diphtheria infection.
