Celiac Antibodies tTG IgA/DGP IgG Combination Screen
This test measures specific antibodies that the immune system creates in response to eating gluten. It helps show whether the body is having an abnormal immune reaction to wheat, barley, or rye that damages the small intestine. Doctors use these results to help distinguish celiac disease from other causes of digestive distress or skin rashes. However, this screening test alone cannot confirm a diagnosis without further medical evaluation, such as an intestinal biopsy.
