This test measures eleven specific antibodies produced by your immune system that target the center of your body's own cells. It helps doctors investigate the cause of symptoms like chronic fatigue, joint pain, or skin rashes by identifying specific patterns of immune system activity. The results help differentiate between various autoimmune conditions, such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren's syndrome, and scleroderma. However, a positive result does not confirm a diagnosis on its own and must be reviewed alongside your physical exam and other clinical findings.
