Chlamydia/Gonococcus/Trichomonas vaginalis/Mycoplasma genitalium, NAA, Urine

This test identifies the genetic material of four specific germs that cause sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in a urine sample. It helps show whether you have an active infection from Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomonas, or Mycoplasma, which is useful because these conditions often have no symptoms. Results from this test help rule out these specific organisms as the cause of genital discharge, pain, or urinary discomfort. It does not, however, detect other STIs like HIV or syphilis, and it cannot tell you when an infection started.
