Chlamydia/Gonococcus/Mycoplasma genitalium, NAA, Urine

This test detects the genetic material of three specific bacteria—Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Mycoplasma genitalium—found in the urine. It helps show whether these bacteria are the cause of symptoms such as pain during urination or unusual discharge. By identifying these specific organisms, the test helps rule out other types of infections that might require different treatments. It does not, however, screen for other sexually transmitted infections like syphilis or HIV, nor does it determine how long an infection has been present.
