Apolipoprotein Assessment

This test measures specific proteins in your blood that transport cholesterol and fats throughout your body. It helps show whether you have a higher risk of developing heart disease by looking at the balance between proteins attached to "good" cholesterol versus those attached to "bad" cholesterol. This information helps doctors understand your cardiovascular health better than standard cholesterol tests alone. However, this test cannot diagnose a heart attack or identify specific blockages in your arteries on its own.
