# Urinalysis, Complete With Microscopic Examination With Reflex to Urine Culture, Routine

> This test evaluates the chemical properties of your urine and uses a microscope to look for specific cells, bacteria, or crystals. It helps show whether you may have a urinary tract infection, kidney stones, or kidney issues by detecting substances that usually are not present, such as blood or protein. If infection markers are found, a culture is performed to identify the specific bacteria involved. While this helps rule out active infections, it cannot determine the exact cause of kidney damage or diagnose systemic diseases on its own.
