Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) (Endocrine Sciences)
This test measures the level of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in the blood, which reflects the number of eggs remaining in the ovaries. It helps show whether your egg supply is typical for your age, which is useful for assessing fertility potential or predicting how the body might respond to fertility treatments. This measurement can also help identify conditions associated with high hormone levels, such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). However, this test only estimates the quantity of eggs and cannot determine their quality or predict exactly when menopause will start.
