> This test measures four specific markers in the blood to evaluate liver health, specifically looking for signs of inflammation and scarring. It helps show whether you are likely to have a severe form of fatty liver disease known as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). By combining these results, it helps doctors identify patients who may have advanced liver damage rather than simple fatty liver. However, this test cannot definitively diagnose the specific stage of liver disease on its own or replace a liver biopsy.
