Maple/Box Elder
This test measures the level of specific antibodies in your blood that react to pollen from Maple and Box Elder trees. It helps show whether your immune system treats this pollen as a harmful invader, which is useful for investigating symptoms like seasonal sneezing, congestion, or itchy eyes. By identifying this specific sensitivity, the test helps distinguish a Maple or Box Elder allergy from other environmental triggers or common colds. It cannot, however, predict exactly how severe your allergic reaction will be based solely on the antibody levels.
