> This test measures specific antibodies in your blood that react to proteins found in beef. It helps show whether your immune system is overly sensitive to beef, which is useful if you experience itching, hives, or stomach issues after eating meat. By identifying these immune markers, the test helps distinguish a potential beef allergy from other food sensitivities. However, it cannot diagnose an allergy by itself, as some people have antibodies without having an actual physical reaction when they eat beef.
