Rye
This test measures the level of specific IgE antibodies in your blood that react to rye. It helps show whether your immune system is treating rye as a harmful substance, which can explain symptoms like sneezing, itching, or digestive trouble. Results from this test help doctors distinguish a specific rye allergy from other environmental or food triggers. However, a positive result indicates sensitization and does not predict how severe a future allergic reaction might be.
