# Seminal Fluid

> This test measures the amount of semen produced and evaluates the number, shape, and movement of sperm cells within the fluid. It is commonly used to check male fertility when a couple is having trouble getting pregnant or to confirm that a vasectomy was successful. These results help rule out low sperm count or poor sperm function as causes for reproductive difficulties. However, this test does not identify the specific medical reason for poor sperm quality or guarantee that a pregnancy will occur.
