Cow Dander
This test measures the level of specific antibodies in your blood that react to cow dander, which consists of tiny skin flakes shed by cattle. It helps show whether contact with cows is triggering symptoms such as sneezing, itchy eyes, or skin rashes. By identifying this specific sensitivity, the test helps distinguish a cow allergy from reactions to other environmental triggers found on farms, such as hay or mold. However, a positive result indicates sensitization and does not predict the severity of an allergic reaction or diagnose asthma by itself.
