It helps show whether being near rabbits is the cause of allergy symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes, or skin rashes. This information helps doctors distinguish a rabbit allergy from reactions to other animals or environmental triggers. While it detects an immune response, this test alone cannot predict the severity of a future allergic reaction.
