# Swine Epithelium

> This test measures the level of antibodies in your blood that react to swine (pig) skin cells or dander. It helps show if your immune system treats contact with pigs as a threat, which is useful if you have symptoms like sneezing or a rash after being near them. This result helps rule out other environmental causes for your symptoms, such as allergies to hay or other livestock. However, this test cannot predict how severe a future reaction might be or diagnose an allergy on its own.
