> This test measures the amount of specific antibodies in your blood produced in response to hamster skin cells and dander. It helps show whether your immune system recognizes hamsters as a trigger, which is useful for investigating symptoms like sneezing, itching, or breathing issues after contact with these pets. While this helps distinguish a hamster allergy from other environmental sensitivities, it cannot predict exactly how severe a future allergic reaction might be.
