Brussels Sprout
This test measures the level of specific IgE antibodies in your blood that react to proteins found in Brussels sprouts. It helps show whether your immune system views this vegetable as a threat, which is useful if you experience symptoms like itching, swelling, or stomach upset after eating it. By identifying these antibodies, the test helps distinguish a potential food allergy from general food intolerance. However, it cannot diagnose an allergy on its own, as some people have antibodies without experiencing actual symptoms.
