# Boiled Milk

> This test measures specific antibodies in your blood produced in response to milk that has been boiled. It helps show whether your immune system reacts to milk proteins that survive high heat, which is important for determining if you might be able to safely eat baked goods containing milk. This measurement helps differentiate between a persistent allergy to all forms of milk and one that may be limited to fresh or unheated milk. However, a positive result does not predict the severity of an allergic reaction or diagnose digestive issues like lactose intolerance.
