Lenscale
This test measures the percentage of a specific form of alpha-fetoprotein, known as AFP-L3, in your blood. It helps show whether elevated protein levels are likely caused by liver cancer or by non-cancerous liver conditions like cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis. This distinction assists doctors in monitoring patients with chronic liver disease for early signs of tumor development. However, this test cannot diagnose liver cancer on its own and requires additional imaging or testing for confirmation.
