# Sunflower Pollen

> This test measures the level of specific antibodies in your blood that react to sunflower pollen. It helps show whether your immune system identifies this pollen as harmful, which is useful for investigating the cause of seasonal sneezing, itchy eyes, or asthma-like symptoms. By identifying a specific reaction to sunflowers, this test helps rule out other environmental triggers or non-allergic causes for your symptoms. It cannot, however, diagnose an allergy on its own, as having antibodies does not always mean you will experience symptoms upon exposure.
