Allergen Profile, Milk Component IgE
This test measures specific IgE antibodies in your blood that target distinct proteins found in cow’s milk. It helps show whether your immune system reacts to proteins that break down during cooking or to those that remain stable when heated. This distinction helps your doctor assess if you might safely eat baked milk products or if you must avoid all milk to prevent a reaction. However, this test cannot diagnose digestive conditions like lactose intolerance or predict exactly how severe a future allergic reaction will be.
