Allergen Profile, Peanut, IgE With Component Reflexes
This test measures specific antibodies in your blood that react to individual proteins found in peanuts. It helps show whether a sensitivity is likely to cause a severe, whole-body reaction or milder symptoms often associated with pollen cross-reactivity. By analyzing these specific components, the test helps distinguish between a high-risk peanut allergy and less dangerous sensitivities. However, this test cannot diagnose an allergy on its own and must be reviewed alongside your medical history.
