Nickel, Whole Blood

This test measures the amount of nickel circulating in your blood. It helps show whether you have been exposed to harmful levels of this metal, which is a concern for people working in certain industrial jobs. Doctors use these results to help rule out nickel poisoning or to monitor safety in the workplace. However, this test cannot identify the specific source of the exposure or diagnose a skin allergy to nickel by itself.
