Aromatic Solvents, Whole Blood
This test measures the levels of specific chemical compounds called aromatic solvents, such as benzene, toluene, and xylene, in your blood. It helps determine if you have recently inhaled or absorbed these chemicals, which are often found in paints, glues, and industrial fumes. This analysis helps doctors identify if chemical exposure is the cause of symptoms like dizziness, confusion, or nausea. However, it only detects recent exposure and cannot determine if these chemicals have caused long-term damage to your organs.
